Thanx for the pix Ury - from one who couldn't make it to Amelia last year! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I still think that I read somewhere that Peich's 914-8 was "presented" to him in`69 or `70, the Ferry Porsche's was "resented" for his birthday in `70 or `71.

I'll find that write-up somewhere ..... eventually .... about the time Ferg finds the one on the sloe `75 914-6! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

I think a great conversion project on a `73 1.7 or 74-75 1.8 would be to build a 908 flat-8 with side-shifter powered "914-8 Redux" with all the latter 914 chassis etc. improvements! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif)

.... but that & sendign our `88 Westy to RUF for a 991 running gear build-out will have to wait for me to collect on a UUUUge Lottery! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

One can dream though! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

Thanx for the link to those recent pix Bill! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It answers my question above of what it's current status is - assuming nothing has changed from April 2015 when that 914club post was done.

And - NO do NOT feel free Admins - since it's my topic post - & I like George anyway - I say screw the others who complain! They need to just get over themselves & go read/look somewhere else if it bothers them too much - the planet does not circle around them! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

And don't be locking my topic either Admins, since we have a good discussion going on here! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Cheers Bill! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
