I have two cabinets for parts cleaning. One has black beauty for aggressive work, and the other walnut shells.

I would like to change one over to glass bead media. Last night I saw there were many grits. What are you using that works well on cast aluminum and magnesium?

Thanks.

Compressor will keep up, get constant 80 lbs plus

I would use soda blasting for engine parts. Cleans up with water and doesn't leave you with that nagging feeling that some of it is stuck in a passage and will come out later and destroy your engine...

Thanks,

I agree, I just want to do a couple of shroud pieces, things external to the engine.
