I think I have seen this before - a slotted thing that goes over the grate or over the whole engine lid of the 914. Who makes that? Where can I find one?
And are there any other solutions? any custom solutions? I would think a nice smooth thing, painted the body color, woudl be cool - mounted up an inch or so, to allow air in. You could convert the whole lid to be a grate (I have seen those before, it about doubles the grates area) and then have this floating lid over it. Let me know! why would you have it over the lid? why not use the stock under raintray- or fab one up for a 914-6 gt engine lid...
