I got a couple orders for my GT Half Cage. I'd like to do as many of them at once as I can, since they're easier when all the tooling is set up. Right now I have 2 orders, if I reach 5 I'll knock everyone's price down 10%, and if somehow 10 people order I'll drop it 15%.

I own one and will be installing it in my build-off project. I can attest to the quality Mark has put into these units.
Just can't wait to install it!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif) Vysoc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) |

I assume there is some seat travel that is lost with this design?

Looks like a factory GT roll bar from back in the era. Nice!
What price are we shooting for at 5 and 10 persons? And, will there be an engine compartment sandwich plate for the center hump mount? I'm in for 1. |

Hi Mark
IF one of those 2 orders is mine, then you still are at 2. IF not, you now are at 3 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks |

It does impede seat travel, but the center bars could be left out.
It's $700 - discount + shipping. Clink the link above for all the details. |

What about a "weld it yourself package"? Helps with the tubing order but doesn't take the assembly finish time?

What about a "weld it yourself package"? Helps with the tubing order but doesn't take the assembly finish time? I could do it, but it wouldn't save a bunch of money. Cutting/bending/notching the tubes is where the time is. Welding goes pretty quick. But I'm game if you want.... |

Mark, I'd be in for one with the 10%-15% discount. Whats the head count to date? Also when do you think they'd be coming off your assembly line?

I assume there is some seat travel that is lost with this design? At 6'6" I can't give up anything... -Steve My cage needed harness bar lowered.I'm 6'1 and have my sparco seats mounted to the floor.I had to bend a bar so the seat would go all the way back. To be clear, I didn't build 1stworks cage. He's just posting it as a "here's what I did". Wrapping up the builds this week and starting shipping. Last chance to get in. |
