hey! your trunk lid sits funny like mine does! sweet, im not alone! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Aaron,
My trunk lid was like that when I first got my car. If it closes all the way when you push down on it with moderate force, you may be able to fix it.

I removed the spindle (it has a notch that the latch fits into), part of the latch system that is attached to the deck lid. I then loosened the adjusting nuts that hold the spindle in place, and then adjusted the nuts to shorten the spindle and re-assembled it.

Had to do it several times to get the trunk lid to pull all the way down for a snug fit. Might be worth trying.

My trunk was like that when I first had my car, but then I just slammed it hard and it closed and closed fine ever since, odd though. Sometimes that latch doesn't catch and may take 2 or 3 hard pushes

Thanks for the info Joseph.

or you can do the "TX thing" and get your last name in your back glass... you know, in case you forget it! or if you are afraid the liscence plate isn't enough of a dead giveaway for your car to the cops...
