I'm looking for a flywheel and clutch assembly for my 1975 2056 D-Jet. Maybe NOS or slightly used. Maybe some one could dig out of their parts stash. Thanks for any help.

Joe

Hi Joe:

If you don't find a good used clutch assembly, there is a pretty fair deal on ebay for a brand new Sachs kit. I just bought one myself.

I know the clutch assembly should be NEW but I thought I would give it a shot. Have you installed yours yet? I would however like an inexpensive used flywheel if anyone out there has or knows of one. I'm trying to keep this project on a budget but somehow... keep shellin out . Looks like I'm doomed to spend more than I realized.

Haven't installed it yet as my flywheel is out getting resurfaced and my engine is in pieces getting rebuilt.

LOL @ "keep shellin out" - I understand! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I hope you are able to find good used stuff.

Vysoc,

Thank you! As you can see the back end is up because the engine/trans are out. The crate with ALL the necessary parts seems to be missing a FEW. So, I'm trying to piece this back together. It looks pretty good up close but will need some touching up even when it's back together. Ebay is a chancy arena...
