I have a 76 914 2.0 that I want to sell. I'm the second owner (since 78) and it is completely stock, save for the exhaust which I have the orginal. Anyways, the car has never been crashed, NO rust, factory paint (garaged its whole life). 103k in CA. The car has a few dings in the paint, the dash has a crack, and the the fabric on the seats needs to be redone. but other then that the car is beautiful. But now I want to sell it and I want to know how much money I can expect, and where the best place would be to advertise to get the most money. heres a couple of pictures of it:

It's pretty clean, 5k on the west coast.....6500 or more on the east. That's for a relatively fast sale. More can be expected but you will wait awhile.

Advertise in all the usual spots. Rennlist, PP, here, recycler in LA....they are all free. You might want to pick a local rag that will advertise until it sells for one flat rate.

Take plenty of pics and get them posted on a site....

At that price level people are going to expect a better interior. I'd look around and score some seats for it and maybe a dash cap. Spending a few hundred to fix the easy things will help you get top dollar.
