Sports cars like the 928 and 924/44 have a higher yearly tax than a pickup truck in some northern european countries.....so beater P-cars get turned into Bubba's hay hauler.

Wasn't there someone who did a truck bed in the back of his 914? I swear I saw a picture of it once, but have no idea where to find it...anyone have an idea of where a pic of a 914-pickup is?

Here it is.
One of my college professors had a ratty old 914 that he turned into a pickup. He removed the trunk lid, and added some wooden sides. Seriously ugly. Demick '74 2.0 Attached image(s) |

When I was cleaning my trunk with some cleaner to get the dirt out of it my back was bothering me from leaning over and I sat in the trunk instead to clean, quite comfy actually. If there was an easier way to take off the trunk, like a clip on joint then you could fit 2 people back there to just lounge when the car is parked somewhere, like at a swap, BBQ, beach (north Daytona), sporting event. That wouls be cool
