I wish I could show you our computer room, but the same issue with no cameras and non-disclosure. Working for the gub-ment has those quirks.
In my department (Network Operations Center, NOC) we monitor over 250 servers (mostly MS boxes) with NetIQ AppManager in a world-wide, privately networked, enviroment. Our main SQL server is a quad 3.2 (HT), with 4gb RAM, MSA 100 running RAID 10, and 1gb connections. Most of our other servers are quad 3.2's, 4gb RAM, but only 200gb local on them. That's pretty cool... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Later, Tom |

On a serious note... for all your folks who run REAL IT operations. The museum I work for can always use donations of used equipment.
Workstations can be Pentium III or better. I've got one dual-Xeon CPU server (Dell PE4600) and one dual-Pentium4 CPU server (Dell PE4400). The rest are dual Pentium II CPU systems that are ages old. I can make use of newer servers that use Pentium III or 4 CPUs, hard drives, and DLT tape backup stuff. If your organization would be interested in sending some stuff our way, just email or PM me.
