Anybody have a Flat Tow setup they're looking to sell?
Alternately, could someone provide dimensions for a self build?

Thanks for the offer.

These are a couple of my thoughts regarding what I ultimately desire.

1) A demountable system that remains hidden behind/below my existing air dam.

2) A system that doesn't require removal of my existing air dam.

3) A system that incorporates my existing VW bug tow bar. (see photo).

I'd be interested in looking at your SuperBug bar to note any differences other than the mounting scheme.

You know I still have that box of Ghia parts, if you're interested.

I'm still interested in the ghia parts.

I will send pm, at that time I can bring the super beetle tow bar to look at.

I have 3 tow bars
1. standard tow bar like yours.
2. standard tow bar narrowed, welded 3 inches to tow my bug
3. superbeetle tow bar.

I attached a picture of the stock tow bar I had to modify.

You could buy Robs hitch and we could try to adapt the hitch accessory.

Rob did you ever use it on a 914?

Thanks Rob. How much are you asking for what you got?? I don't seem to have your phone number or I'd call you directly. Please send it along in a PM and we'll hook up.
Thanks, Marty
