Has anyone ever seen (or have) a factory list (or pictures) of options of the 914? I know that at one time Porsche had luggage, key fobs, floor mats, etc. for the 356 and 911. But I can’t find anything for the 914. I have checked the 914 Restorers Guide to Authentic (1st addition) book and it really just list the options as the appearance group. But I believe there were more options than that. Anyone?

I've got the literature that came with my car when it was new, and the window sticker which I think lists all available options-but it doesn't show accessories like key fobs or personal items
I'll take a look, what are you looking for specifically? just the literature or a part?? |

Just the literature. Not really looking for anything specific. I’m just really curious as to what was offered. My 914 (74 1.8) was my late fathers. He bought it new. I have all the manuals/brochures/etc. that he had. About the only thing I don’t have is the window sticker (it was never actually put on the car!) or any options brochure.

Here is what I got, not sure what year it was for but it shows optional equipment. There are 2 parts. Check the second picture also.

Judging by the first picture, its a 70 or 71, fixed passenger seat.

Isn't that aftermarket AMCO stuff? Didn't the PORSCHE factory offer stuff too? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)

I have a few brochures on my 914 Collectibles website at the link in my signature block below. Click on the 'Books and Brochures' page and scroll to the bottom.
There is lots there... Check out the '1975 Accessories Brochure' in particular but dont miss the others too. |

So according to that pic and the list, Pedrini's are magnesium instead of aluminum?

But it says that 914/6's take 10 spokes. They don't make 5 lug Pedrini's, do they. Maybe someone confused them with Mahles? |

You have to be careful. VOA made some accessories available under part numbers beginning with ZVW for VW's and ZPW for Porsche's, these were not factory options per se.
I have a list of the M #'s at home, but it is not complete. Things like the M471 competition option were several grouped items. Things like the rear fog light or rear window defrost were single items. |
