I am trying to get ready for the Rt 66 run. I plan 4 days each way since I am decrepit and slow witted. Also the car is pushing 40. So I am fixing the air dam and the rockers put in with sheet metal screws when someone broke off the bolts underneath. Drilled and rethreaded. The list goes on - wish the vent fan hadn't died, but I am not pulling the fuel tank with two other Porsches in the air.

So it is "Punitive Maintenance". As in punishing me for:

Being a dumb ass and putting things off

Being a dumb ass and buying the car in the first place

Being a dumb ass and and deciding to rebuild the engine and tranny

Being a dumb ass and you see how this goes

Yep, well deserved punitive maintenance

Prolly, most of you don't deserve it.
