I was wondering if anyone has had any experince with those 'Porsche LED Gauge Lights' you see on ebay all the time?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=42613 I don't really want them in color but I would like something/ anything that would make my gauges easier to read in the dark (besides a flashlight). Go here www.karstuff.com you'll find what you need at a much better price. I have yet to receive mine from them but I've seen some blue LED in a 914 looks pretty good especially in the center console. As mentionned, you can't dimm the lights.

Note that the guy on e-bay isn't offering a direct replacement. You'll have to mess around a bit with the wiring to get it all right.
The bulbs I originally put together, which are now available on http://www.karstuff.com are a direct drop in for the stock bulbs. My recommendation is you support karstuff.com. In the end, it's a bit cheaper than the ebay bulbs. They DO work well. Blue was my favorite color. Regards, Qarl |

I've only ever torn them out....how many do I need to buy to replace the stock ones, and the three on the center-console?

Looks like I'll be going to http://www.karstuff.com. Now I need to pull out my gauges and see how many I'll need (I'll let CptTripps know as well). Thanks again, Bill (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |
