I'm prepping the rear trunk for paint. The car has been repainted once I have sanded thru the repaint down to original or bare everywhere but the seam sealed areas. I want to clean and prep those areas next. what success have you guys had?
Thanks |

I've used a detailing brush or toothbrush and degreaser (Grow 1705 or similar) to clean the factory seam sealer, followed by compressed air then spray epoxy primer or 2K primer/surfacer before paint. Haven't had any problems afterwards.
