Why would the boss have to park his car on the street? If that's the case.

OMG! I hope they find that sucker out of gas parked neatly by the curb - soon. Worst nightmare for one of us as it relates to cars.

These incidents will also continue to occur, as long as you have folks who want your toys and don't want to work for it. We live in an " I'm entitled " society now. I agree with you, crime is up everywhere, how can people be so blind not to see the increase? As the price of these cars go up, they will be stolen more for the entire car or parts. |

There are various commercial locating/GPS services available.
My job as a Utilities Superintendent has me keeping track of heavy machinery valued at $150,000 to over 1 million dollars per machine in some cases. All of our Machinery is outfitted with a locating ping that has a independent power source. We also use a simular, only less expensive locating device on our Chop saws and other expensive small tools that tend to grow legs and disappear never to return. It only stands to reason if you have a item of value and want to make certain it cannot be Heisted away from your ownership that you would protect it any way you can. Stealing is a horrible thing, but failure to take the initiative to protect your "stuff" is a close second. |

A bad deal indeed. If you've ever read "The Ransom of Little Red Chief" by O'Henry, have you ever envisioned one of these thieves stealing a teener and the inevitable ending? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

Do you really believe the Feds? If I recall, they let lots of criminals go due to budget concerns.
Also don't let the main stream media lead one like a cow around. |

Do you really believe the Feds? Right, because your "gut feeling", internet loons and media fear mongering are so much more reliable sources of information than actual numbers from those who keep track of these things. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |
