Qarl, you butthead, that's not funny! You NEW you'd get caught on this one.
God, I feel for the real owner of that Elise; how the Hell did he/she smack both ends like that without hurting the side? Think the owner got caught between two Cayennes? |

Rich,
you have a good point, but I have one final thing I want you to consider: (pulling down a diagram of Chewie) this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee -- an eight foot tall Wookiee -- want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more importantly, you have to ask yourself: what does that have to do with Karls wrecked Elise? (calmly) Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with Karl's Elise! It does not make sense! Look at me, I'm an average joe in Washington State consoling a freind in Florida with a wrecked exotic car, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense. And so you have to remember, when you're reading this thread and deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! My fellow club members and 914 enthusiasts of this supposed "Garage", it does not make sense. If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must accept that Karl wrecked his car! The defense rests. -Ben M. ps - Oh! Look over there! Something shiny! (quick Karl, run!) |

The plate on Qarl's car was totally ruined in the accident, along with the wheels. He had to put the plate from the other Lotus on his car so it would not catch the eye of the authorities. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) |

Alright, alright, alright. Here's the deal!
I am not lying... 1. I didn't say it was a picture of MY car. 2. I know the owner of that car DID wait a long time to get the car. 3. It is broke 4. I do suffer from chronic back problems. 5. I DID get up at 5:00 am this morning and drive to Ft. Myers and back. 6. I never said it was MY garage. 7. I figured that since 99% of us can disect every bitty detail of what's wrong with a 914 from a few photos off e-bay that one of you would be able to pick up on the wheels being different. I was right! 8. It IS April Fools day. The South Park Wookiee defense...nothing can beat it.......
The wookiee lives on Endor, so he has a supply of Ewoks to use as q - tips to keep his hairy ears clean. The old supply and demand ratio......... |

Wookies are valuable as slave labor for the Empire. Usually in the mines. As they were constructing Death Star 2 (DS2) they would naturally have had wookies on hand to help bend girders and remove arms from insolent officers. Having no means transport enough food to feed them, they would have let groups of wookies go into the endorian forest to feed on the natural resources; ewoks, trees, squirrels, hikers. Several wookies would be lost to the mighty meat-trap and would be filed as "losses" by the Imperial Accountantcy Bureau. Some would escape. Making a home in the wild forests of northern endorian, disrupting logging and making a mess of trees with their graphity (KAALWELK Sang If any of this makes any sense...seek help. |

I have to tell my side of this story. On March 17 I saw Karl posting on one of the Elise forums (where his handle is 'Qball'). He was asking if anyone had pictures of a wrecked Saffron yellow Elise. I imediately knew what he was up to and sent him a PM calling him on it. He promptly swore at me and begged me to keep quiet. I volunteered to play along but we didn't speak about it again.

I knew it! Qarl, didn't you try to pull something last year too. Something to do with you getting fed up with your project and selling it all? As soon as I saw it, there was a shadow of doubt in my mind. You're a sneaky bugger. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
