Yes Rich - I HAVE several different sets... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
T If you're trying to increase mechanical grip at the rear, you should increase the front anti-sway bar stiffness and/or reduce the rear spring rate. Screwy reality of these cars.... Not sure what you have for springs, but if you are using the smaller diameter rear springs, they are fairly low cost, so having several different sets, and trying them all on the same day, same track, may give you some insight. Fantastic write-up on your weekend adventure. There are lots of little (and not so little) things to sort out on a recently built car. Despite the troubles you had, you learned a lot and did some fast driving in anger. Awesome!! Thanks for sharing the ups and downs!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Similar when Russo took the 962 out of hibernation after 20 years. It ran like crap all weekend. Really frustrating. Now it's purring and the owner is happy. Takes time to shake it down. For us it was the engine but it wasn't like we could blast it down the back roads to check it out ahead of time.

Bob - No rear bar.
Stein - BIG benefit of my car being "street legal"...I've battled that scenario with my sportsracer. Really inconvenient. |

Tony, really loving these posts. One thought not mentioned is a 914 with a Chevy Engine is possibly the most unbeatable combination for serious racing. The LS1 Engine seems to have more power then the car would ever need which is the perfect storm in racing. Your car seems to be on the path to control the beast.

I keep forgetting to mention this...can the intake location be put to bed? Seems to work well enough?
