what a great event
what a great bunch of attendee's
and...

Amazing, absolutely Amazing door raffle prizes
thank you to all of the sponsors and event organizers who put time, and $$ out there to make it even better for attendee's

Thank you JP, Jason, Mike, and all others that had a hand in this event!

folks on the board should have seen all of the items given away
it wasn't just one grand prize... There were Many grand prizes

I'm very lucky to have won the labor of a Dr. Evil Werks transmission rebuild
which is wonderful for me, as I can put it to good use

I'll let others chime in here, but everyone should know that 914Rubber, PMB, Dr. Evil, STRAT!, and other sponsors really gave out very nice gifts to strengthen this tiny community and add a cherry to the top of a great event

I just walked in the door from coming back after a night in Salina, a little over halfway home. Great to see those I've met before and those I met for the first time - thanks for all the good words of encouragement as I stumped along! I swear I'm stronger now than I was when I drove down! Thanks for the great rides out and back to the Canyon from Greg and Jason - very nice cars, both of 'em! We saw some great sights and I think it may be worthy to start a thread on what it looks like wherever our rides take us - not just to events but there's amazing scenery in this country that many don't see. Don't need a reason or specific event but if you want to include it, that's great. The pictures speak a thousand words and the roads we drive on write the stories.
Thanks again to all of those contributing to a great event!

Thanks Brant for starting this thread. We can never thank our sponsors enough for all that they do to support this community. As I mentioned in another thread I was shocked and overwhelmed to have won the 914 Dash and I have the perfect car to put it in l, The dash will complete its beauty. The funny thing is I feel like I need to go to 914 Rubbers website and buy a lot!! It was a big gift and big donation and I'm sure others will make sure to buy from our sponsors. Thanks again 914 rubber I have 5 914 and my credit card is clear!!!! You supported WCR 2015 and helped to make that event a big hit many many thanks.

Leamon.

I want to Thank Dr. Evil,

I was finally able to make up my mind about which weird gearing to go with in the door prize Transmission!

this also was partially a gift from SLITS...
Ron won the door prize and gave it to me
Mike, was patient and very helpful in the process

I just unboxed the "hill climb" transmission last night and it looks GREAT!
I really want to thank all of the sponsors and always the same great ones!

thank you again Dr. Evil!

Next September I will install a very low, and very weird: A/F/Hb/M/V transmission to go racing up the hills of the Snowmass-Aspen street vintage race!

Man, I didn't realize SLITS won and donated it. I forgot that....man, that makes my heart ache in a good/bad way. Miss that dirty turd. He always was such a giver, and I have personally benefited from his beneficence as well. His response to payment was always, "Pay it forward." I have adopted that mantra for the last 12 years and like to do the behind the scenes help out like SLITS used to. This place and its people are special (in a good way). I cant wait to hear how it does. I think I forgot to send you a sticker for your window (or ask if you wanted one, lol). Its funny, I keep saying that I don't rebuild/build race boxes.....yet I keep doing them. Ah well, I can be selective with my clientele (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
