Any one actually get a set of doors from "James" (why do all guys that do fiberglass seem to be named James), actually paid him fee to make some molds for me on rocker panels. This was in December.
I remember one member was going to drop by to try to pick up a set, just curious as to if anyone ever did get anything?
He also has 2 other numbers I keep getting answering machines for, I've been calling 1-2 times a week, but no response so I figured I'd post here so that at least no one else would loose money.

...it is a rough neighborhood, all those millennials frustrated, not sure if they should drive their dad's BMW or their mom's Mercedes to the Starbucks.

but yeah, pretty sure this place doesn't exist... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

Rory tried to find it...asked the local police in the general area if they knew of such a establishment, they had no clue.
and yeah, in Bergen County, it's easy for the police to be familiar with all operations in their borough.

Could get pretty sketchy with all those imported cars and espresso....I mean who knows what could happen.....someone might think you are hurting someone's feelings, or worse yet you are being judge mental.

I talked to the guy on the phone before the holidays and asked if I could drop by, 'sure, no problem , any time' !
...been there, there ain't no there !
Weird that a scammer would use a local address and a local phone number.
He even told me he was going to provide parts to mikey (914rubber) as a distributor.
Nice as could be.
Lets not forget that the "fiberglass" door pictured looked way too good, too detailed to be glass.
It even had a crash beam, captive nuts, hinges, door seal holder, etc.,etc.
FOR $200. .......for a pair !
If it sounds too good to be true.......

This would be my first stop if trying to track him down. Two, and if you count his sham, three fiberglass companies in a town of 15,000 people. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Unless this town is a hotbed for fiberglass manufacturer's I'd say he works at or did work for one of these companies. Maybe he went belly up and went back to work for one of those companies. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

My conversation seemed to be pretty good. He was knowledgeable, and even asked about making Lotus parts, so I had hoped that it may be a good relationship, now just silence

I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt, actions are louder than words. One reason I didn't bite on his quote for hoods. Even though a good price, i wanted to see fulfillment of the easy one 1st.

Do Everett and Sirandy talk? Both are so good at sniffing out the scammers. Being in similar situations I'd hope so.

I too contacted him back when the original post regarding the glass doors popped up - it took about 2 weeks for him to respond. I cut him loose on that basis - I'm glad I did. Sorry.

Going to look up his banking information. Short of closing the accounts there's no way he can separate himself from that.
