If it's a Vented Battery, such as I have, buy a Battery Mat that will help control the vented Battery Acid that excapes. Cut the mat to size and put it under the Battery on the tray, and also cut a peace to go Vertically behind the battery. Replace it every couple years, it will nuetralize the acid.
