A big milestone, engine and tranny are back in car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thanks to all who have helped me get this far.
I have reconnected clutch cable before anything else as I want to make sure this whole thing with the arm is correct. I now have 3/4 -1" play when pulling pedal up. I think there is still enough slack in cable that excess pressure is not on TOB. When pedal fully depressed to floor there is about 3/8" (rough measure) remaining before arm would hit the trans case. Here is pic of cable end. Does everything sound like it is within spec? Thx |

If I connect a multimeter to the pins of the injector connectors that are not doing anything when pulled, should I see voltage pulses? That would at least tell me that signal is reaching the injectors???
I suppose that once I know there is spark at the plugs and signal to the injectors it narrows things down to: 1) Bad injector (maybe damaged when shop crimped the hoses on there?? Although that seems unlikely) 2) Something with valve adjustment, rockers, or related. If number 2 I am still thinking I will leave it to Porsche mechanic to fix. If I screwed it up with engine out of car I would probably do even worse with engine in!! |
