Okay, this year our local PCA region is classifying anything with race
tires according to the SCCA rules. In trying to figure out this stuff, it's not clear what the difference is between SM and SSM. Can a 914 be in SM? Or because it's a 2-seater it must be SSM? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I can't make it into SP because my 914-6 has a lot of non-standard engine parts making it a 2.3L. Thanks for any direction. |

Hi Garold,
Thanks for the clarification. The 2016 online rules do not say this anywhere. I assume their online version is 'abridged' as it is only 345 pages. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Is there a source for the full 2016 rules? Another thing that is not explained in my
'reduced' copy is what is the difference between SP and SSP. |
