The first post says the Red Rocks Classic is Sept 8 - 11. (Thursday to Sunday)
When I called the hotel they said the block of rooms was set up for 4 nights with check out on Monday the 12th.

its the 8th, 9th, 10th, check out on the 11th...
I think the hotel has its wires crossed....

thats 1160 miles and 18 hr drive for me and thats missing the Beaver you spoke of. That would be a great drive to brake in my car, Im thinking.
