All,

As we look forward to this event I just want all of you to take a moment and think about the great response that all of our sponsors have provided us. I have not even gotten the final stuff in yet so there is even more than I have posted.

We have sponsors like Brad at 914 Limited that support us with donations. Really crazy sponsors like Charles with Bosch that sent so much stuff I cant believe it. Tried and true sponsors like Maddogs, Tim, Bruce, Garold, Eckler’s, Sierra Madre, AASE Sales, CSI, Stoddard, PMB, Restoration Design, Paragon Products, and Zymol.

New and returning sponsors like Johnson MotorSports, Pelican Parts, Coco Mats, RIX 914 Parts, Dakota Digital, S&K Tools (can you believe the crazy stuff they sent?), and Awesome Powdercoat.

Then we have the insane ones like Mark at 914 Rubber.com who is coming to the event and is bringing a stash for sure. Charles at LN Engineering giving away Nickies! Pirelli Tire helping out an event like this! Was talking with Ross at Pirelli about a prize for 914's with Pirellis on them. I mentioned how much I loved my P4s on another car I have but wished there were more Pirelli 15-inch sizes and he sent me some information and offered to help me get a set before the event.

Really all of this for our little event?

I know I have likely overlooked a sponsor in this long rant but the bottom line is that these are the people that support the 914 and we really need to do what we can to return their support. For those sponsors that will be at the event please take a moment to let them know how much their support means.

My wife has already called the 20% off offer we are getting from Coco mats for her Boxster. No new mats for me!

For the past three years, I have meant to take a ride in William's "slightly modified" original -6. And every year, never get a chance because I'm always running around getting stuff done for the event. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

But THIS year... I am going to make it happen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

For your sake, I hope he has fixed the seat belt. Scared the hell out of me. All i could do is hold the belt and tell him to slow down.

OK
Our good buddy Mark Whitesell of 914 Rubber is coming in and was looking for a ride. I have offered to let him drive my car but there may be a few more exiting cars out there for him. So if you want to potentially give Mark a seat let me or Mark know.

I also have an open seat available (wife cant come, new job) , it also is just a -4 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ,

Gave Clay crap about the heater. But decided I better put mine together as well.

Spent day doing a few minor things as well. AAR valve quit working. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Plug that off and see what happens next!

Got to change the oil and swap the air filter and I guess I will see if it makes it or blows up! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowup.gif)

Thinking of printing some shirts like this to take to the swap meet. Would anyone be interested in a shirt like this for $10?
