I decided to mount my SDS unit insid the car.

Hard to get the carpet to form to all the contours also. I just did this last month PITA. Used 3M heavy duty spray adhesive.

Ya, a little bit. It turned out pretty good though.
I used velcro and tucked the very top under the window.
Made for a nice clean look.

Neat... so there is no back pad at all? Just carpeting?

I would like to see what it looks like when everything is back in there. Make sure you post pics of the completed interior.

Yup, just carpet.
Not sure how noisy it will be. I also put a much thicker sound pad on the
engine side so I am hoping this will keep the sound down.
This stuff is used to line the under side of the hoods on Freightliner trucks.
