'74, 2.0, L80E, looks like a LE front airdam to me, Mahle wheels.

Hellhole problems but otherwise decent shape.

No affiliation, but it's relatively local for me.

That is in fact "Baby Doll" that used to be owned by Zymurgist (Ken) and Type47 (Jim) before that (RIP to both (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ). I don't recall this being identified as a Creamsicle then. This guy is trying to flip it after picking it up at auction about two weeks ago. It's on Craigslist now for $11.5K. He originally listed it at $12K a week ago, so he's all about the quick buck. I suppose they all are.

How did you come up with "Possible Creamsicle"? Car was originally silver L96D.

Couldn't make out the code in the Karmann plaque from the ebay photos. Had no idea this was Babydoll; just randomly came across the ebay listing.

Yeah, I remember coming across the CL ad for the Auction. Posted in in the "Porsche 914" facebook group and right away people were referring to it as "babydoll". There were several people from that group that were going to the auction to try and keep it in the group and not let it go to a flipper, but apparently that didn't happen. He's had trouble flipping it. He's lowered the price down a couple of times in the last few weeks, and it's now at $6,000 (half the original asking). Maybe that one picture of the hell hole is scaring people off...

Could be the hell hole, but the overspray on the tags and wiring would have me concerned as to how good the repaint was and what else may be hiding.

I Might pay 4,000.00 for it but would want to see the bits under the rockers.
