(IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) John - Your car doesn't even run? Hilarious. You might be the first to win one of these with a non-driving car! Sweet. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Finished the engine today, ready to go in this weekend.

Waiting on one car part and then a call to Gandalf....

Johns car runs occasionally, then he gets a hair across his ass and he pulls the motor, calls Gandalf with some idea and off he goes....

This time we are hoping, the motor stays in, for a season at least...

I'd humbly disagree...it WAS a blow-out.

Congratulations John - helluva shift handle too...I want one of those! Sent you a PM for the source. Awesome.

Miller: Love GV too (that whole area)! I spent every Summer in LOTP off of Combie...great memories!

Shift knob was hand crafted by:

Zach

vacca_rabbit

It is a great match for my color interior and it always gets noted. His work is exemplary.

Thank Andyrew and everyone all very much..

All the cars are spectacular and uniquely individualistic. I was honored to have my car nominated and placed in the field with such wonderful 914's. The win is bitter sweet. I know how much time and effort every contestant has put into their cars, and there is no good better and best here, they are all fantastic cars. These cars will be nominated again, and again, and will all be winners at another time.

With much appreciation and Thanks,
wndsnd

Thanks Bob,

Gandalf was over today and we got the new engine in, plumbed, wired, and for the most part the cams broke in.

One oil hose fitting started leaking pretty good when the oil heated up so I had to shut it down after 10-15 minutes of run, but for a rough start, I was pleased.
