I'm having an issue with the left headlight. Every time I go to turn on/off hte lights, the right on behaves normally, but the left continues to open and close until physically stopped. Sometimes it will open and close a few times and then stay open, but if I'm turning the car off it will just sit there and blink forever.

Do the lights share a relay or are they seperate? What usually stops the headlights from continuing on their cam, and what would cause this to happen with only one?

Thanks!

Aaron

Swap the relays and see if the problem moves to the other side. If it does, it's the relay that's bad.

i've played with these relays.....on the headlights, if the relay piece gets stuck down longer than it should, then the headlight will continue to go up-down-up-down......NEVER EVER EVER NEVER NEVER reach your hands anywhere near that headlight assembly....it's built WITHOUT modern safety features, such as stopping when it feels bones crunching.....i'm pretty confident it's the relay....like 95%

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/agree.gif) It is more than likely the relay, this is a common problem/symptom for the relay.
