Is lithium grease OK?

Works for me without any deterioration or appreciable wear on the mating surfaces. My side shift went in about 8K ago and on daily use, no visible wear and a good slide fit.

The drive-train is out for a couple of days while i install a new head in the place of a one-in and one-out spark plug pop-out conversion that was bestowed upon my ride out of the blew... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) So i had a good opportunity to inspect the linkage bushings....

Oh well. I wanted to clean up the dust from the resent 1850 mile AZ desert run in the engine compartment, change my fuel filter and get a couple of things ready for my distant future 3.0 SC to move in.
