Yesterday I disconnected my side shift. When I got the boot off, the plastic/vinyl bushing was broken in two.
Is that common or is it a sign of another problem? I can't tell you how the car shifted because I haven't driven it yet and the PO hadn't for 33 years…… Hopefully its just a matter of replacing it? Thanks Steve |

They get brittle after 33 years. Replace all of them...
