I don't see Melba, Turtle girl, Jenny, Mrs. K and several others anymore. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Before I registered back in 04 (I was a guest for a year), There were these women and others posting and hanging out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif) I know life pulls everyone in other directions but did the crazy sob's chase them away? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif) I'm sure there's a few but I would expect more with the 911 variety than 914. If you ask yourself how many women like to dirty their hands and ask simple questions like what kind of oil should I used.....I think you will answer your own question. I can understand your "beating a dead horse" icon & not wanting any further comments on this thread after your "foot in your mouth" comment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) How did I put my foot in my mouth? Please explain! I only mentioned that maybe there's more in the 911 forum. But then, maybe your the one that has put your foot in your Big Mouth. As for beating a dead horse, this thread can go on forever as everyone has an opinion - so should we continue to discuss 914 questions or perpetuate one's core values - 76-914?? Oh, I would normally say Go Pound Sand......but I won't...not me! |

I think we should try to track the women down who left and ask them why.

Well one of our female members who posts here pretty much every day is having a birthday today. You could start by going to the Birthday Fairy Report and wishing her a happy birthday. Mrs. K (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif) has been wishing you a happy birthday since your first birthday here on the world site and some of us, longer, back to the club days... Like you, my wife Cheryl used to race locally and some here still root for her to beat me. She beats me on looks, personality, friendliness, and I could go on and on. What do you mean "some"? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) --DD |

I love my wife, But.... The problem with having a wife that is a car person, especially a 914 person, is that she consistently, shall we say, kicks my ass at the local autocross and track day events. So over the years we have had rather spirited "discussions" about what is done to her car that makes it so much faster than mine. She always replies "you can't buy skill honey". That and I can't just slip things by her. She understands what I am buying when it comes to car parts. But it does make Christmas shopping easy!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I'll just leave this here... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |
