LED taillights are already being made by a member that fit into the stock housing (do a search, post a few weeks ago)....LED bulb assemblies that replace the bulbs are already made and can be bought all over the place......... spelling out 914/6 or whatever with LEDs seems "rice" to me (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Yes you can buy the lights seperately.
They come in: Red, Amber, Clear, Amber/Red, and Amber/Clear. I only stock Red, Amber/Red, and Amber/Clear. The others I would have to order and it takes about a month to get. My supplier only places 1 order a month to Germany. If you want LEDs, make sure you guys get 3" ones. Their actually marker lights not taillights, that's why their single pole. Taillights are 4", according to Grote it's a minimum square inch veiwing issue. That's why they're no 3" taillights. The Hella ones have been made for over 40 years so I think they're grandfathered in. There are motorcycle taillights that are small and round like the Hellas but a lot cheaper if you want. The ones in the picture back a few replies are 356 beehive lights. Those are the same size, so if you have a set lying around you can use those too, but there also single pole. |
