Hes gonna do the Euro conversion on them, but with a piece of aluminum. Then one set is going on the car, and I think I will sell the others. Not too sure, tho. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I'd sell both sets to pay for these NOS Euros (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

He didn't snipe Craig, it looks like Craig tried to sneak in with 5 seconds and snipe Karl, but Karl's bid was high enough to win.
How much WAS your bid for Karl? |

I think Craig bid $300.00. My max bid was $301.01. I had a gut feeling someone was going to put in high bid, and I upped mine at the last minute.
Sir George probably has a few more. I'm sure Craig could convince him to sell him another set for that price. |

QUOTE(seanery @ Jun 20 2003, 10:12 AM) How much WAS your bid for Karl? Karls max bid WAS $301.01 If he had bid more, the price would have gone to the next higher bid increment ($305). Karl paid $1 more than he had to. Or Craig would have won if he had bid $1.02 more. A week to bid and you guys want to snipe in the last ten seconds. That's the only way to play the eBay game. |

Hey Craig:
I could have bet money you were going to show up on that auction. George may have another set... I'm sure you could convince him to sell you another pair. Made up for a rather crappy day. Take care. |

Excellent bid, didn't think it would get that high. We will see what comes out of the warehouse.
John thanks very much for the goodies from Pomona, great stuff. I have a plate heading your way when you send me your mailing address. Thanks CCLINEBAYVILLE |

Craig - Can't ya just put a stamp on it and ask the post office to send it to VegasRacer @goflyakite?
I know your eBay ID. Do you know mine? It doesn't really matter. You'll never know if I'm gonna bid till the last few seconds anyway. Hey Dave - sorry about hijacking your thread. Here's one more chance for me to post a converted .bmp image. At least there is a turn signal in the photo. Attached image(s) |

Korijo...
Have you compared your restored units with the "old ones", as far as brightness, etc, goes? I think that would make an interesting picture. -Rusty |

I am betting that they will be brighter.
I think the "whiter" silver color of the aluminum paint that Korijo used will reflect/dispersse light better than the mirror-like coating of the original bucket. Regards, Karl |
