OK,

Meeting was last week, I got busy and forgot to update you.

Zone 7 involvement should be a breeze. They are one of the smallest zones and only have about 100 members, 20ish active. Also I am known in the group very well due to my dads involvement.

Here are the basics:

1. Rules:
All the rules are insurance driven. IE No alcohol on drives, No meeting for lunch at a winery or brewery and then continuing a drive. You however can END a drive at a alcoholic venue.
(NOTE IF ANYONE HAS ORGANIZED A WINE TOUR OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS LET ME KNOW, THIS WILL HELP IF WE WANTED TO DO SOMETHING OF THIS NATURE. THERE HAS TO BE SOME KIND OF WORKAROUND)
All drives that we register and sign up for will be covered and insured, therefore we need to know the start and finish of each drive.
No other basic rules discussed. They will give me a copy of the rules they are aware of.

2. Registration and Fees:
They have no issue with registration fees. They will have No involvement with them and are just here to help us, not to dictate us.

3. Non member attendance:
No issue, All attendees must sign in however.

4. Zone wide promotion:
They will promote the event if we give them something to put in their monthly flier. Its a small flier so they encourage content. If we want more zone wide coverage we are encouraged to contact the local zone reps ourselves.

5. Sig $

They mentioned $250 and they would just cut a check.

6. Post event coverage zone wide:
Same as 4, they are more than happy to cover the event in their flier and encourage it.

4. Insurance for drives:

We will need to get them the start/finish marks and days and abide by the insurance rules.

Andrew, you were at the first Tahoe event. Recall that drive where Jerika road with. John? That drive was organized and led by Randy Wentzel. He has a gift for it. We should get him involved.

PCA involvement complete, I was told we are good for a $400 reimbursement check upon receipts. I dont anticipate we'll need it so it can go to WCR 2018.
