Volvo used to have a really cool program like that. You got a mediallion for 100, 250, 500, 750, and they actually gave you a car for 1,000,000.
My neighbor got a new car in the early 90s because he'd kept his other one on the road for 1,000,000 miles, and had all the service docs from certified repair places...pretty cool program actually. The had the news there and a bunch of other media. The funny part was that the car he was given was a REAL POS! He's driving a Saab now. |
