I need front tires for my bug and have been experimenting with different rims and tire sizes.
I like the Fuchs but because of the lowered spindles on my bug they rub on the rims if I corner hard. I can tell you these rims deflect a lot!
My other reasons are these tie into my bugs EMPI theme better, they fill the wheel wells a little nicer and I would give the Fuchs to my son for his 914 build.

A long time ago a friend did a PS of the black in a candy red on the EMPI sprintstars and it looked cool, but my idea is could I leave the one group of black as is, say the wide sections and paint the narrow sections a different color. Or vice-versa thus creating a Black Max look to the rims. the rest would still be silver.

This is my car, I don't need the rims photoshopped onto it, I already know how they look on the car, just to give and idea on the car color.

Thanks in advance for your help (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I'd paint the black and polish the rest.

Or to be different, paint the lug hole sections black and the other sections blue. Polish the ribs and rim.

Chrysler Rallye '70s 15' X 10".
Candy apple red,'76 Dart GT 360.
I split a set on a lathe,welded a tube in to 10" W.
A lot of work to fit the tires inside the fenders,MT 26".

In retrospect,I should have coated them with a more subtle colour.
To like,tone it down a bit,big fat tires and everything,attracted attention,heads turning.
In today's world, they would be hohum boring.

Thanks, you guys rock (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

But I don't think it looks as good as I envisioned it.
Why I wanted to see it before I went to all the trouble.
Maybe do the all blue background to match the car...or black with a hint of blue mixed in the clear. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
