Hi All,

I switched out the original 3-port fuel pump and installed the 2-port.
I've replaced the plug with spade terminals but I can't remember which wires (Black/red wire and brown wire) goes to + and -.
I have it written down somewhere (plus i was sure i'd remember) but i can't find my notes.

Tia

Brown is always chassis ground, or negative (-).

Which fuel pump are you using? Nothing to do with the electrical question you asked, just curious as I am getting ready to change out my furl pump. But I agree with the answer you got. Brown is negative.
Thanks,

Its a Carter. Not sure of the PN, but I can get back to you with that.
This one is for Carbs. I bought it from CFR.
I comes with the filter, mounting bracket and all hardware needed to install.
Very simple to install.
Chris is quick to ship too!
