Hi there,

I just bought this one a few months back and have sorted out a few things. I am slated for back surgery in a few weeks however, and need to thin the fleet a bit. I need to offload mine fairly soon, mainly due to the surgery (found out my inpatient fees are going to set me back)- and I don't have time to enjoy it with my crazy work schedule (along with the 10 other cars) I bought this to just get in and go, but its just sitting in my garage doing nothing.

Here are some highlights:
The engine is a 2056 (2L with 96mm pistons) - Scat Cam - ported heads - engine was done for over $4000 at German Motor Car Restorations. Twin Weber - NO FI!. Makes about 150hp. Trans was rebuilt at the same time.

Here are the highlights:

Fresh Engine - 2056cc - less than 1200 miles
Fresh rear shift Trans
Stainless Heat Exchangers
New Burch Muffler (sound great)
Rennshift Shifter
New Shift linkage rod & bearings
All 4 corner rebuilt with fresh bushings and bearings
Brakes rebuilt
Silver Paint (6 out of 10)
No rust - not in hell hole or anywhere
Chrome is OK - mostly original - presentable - but not concours
New rear valance
Front Spoiler
Windshield is good
Brand New interior
New carpet
Leather seats
Leather door cards
New Dash top (914 Rubber)
New Radio with Ipod, USB and SD Slot
Momo Suede steering wheel - new
Combo gauge with Engine Temp
Late 150 MPH Speedo
4 new tires
Rims are great - no scratches or marks
New shocks - new rear springs.

Few flaws:
-The driver side door stop is broken, so the driver side door just needs a bit of care when opening to avoid damage to the front edge.
-Power antenna for the radio needs attention. Radio works, with SD card and aux input.

I've added the JW West fuse upgrade block, and am just wrapping up an oil cooler upgrade when I get back from my business trip in Kentucky. I'm looking for $19K.

I'm in Sacramento area, and was about to truck it to a friend in Mission Viejo near San Diego to help me sell while I'm in rehab. If you are interested in pictures, emal at aashish.dalal@gmail.com

Cheers!

I think you are going to have a a hard time finding and 'extra clean' 2.0 for that budget. Wishing you well but something is going to have to give.

You should be able to find what you want in this price range. Real prices are 25% to 30% lower than the asking price... If they ask 20k you can offer 15k and get the car... Good luck to you !
