Looking at putting together a "project kit" that will allow you to take a weekend and completely restore your headlight area.
As we make several parts already, we have embarked in trying to get "everything" you need. Even the paint.

The idea is that you can replace the bushings, and adjusters, and screws. Even including the chemicals you need to pre-treat the metal for rust resistance and matched paint. We have found a very good metal treatment that is not caustic and is pretty simple to use. We can get in quantity and break it into job size portions.

Here is the preliminary fun I've had at testing these out.
1st the prospective assembly

Did use a blast cabinet on these, but really needed to as they were pitted.

So how close is this to stock?
You can see that the area on the top is almost identical to where I sprayed.

So, I'm working on getting as many pieces of the puzzle to make it a simple process minimizing the trips out for odds and ends. Looking at all the bushings, adjuster screws, bases, and more. No price yet, but will be reasonable. So if interested let me know!

Mark,

Love this idea and would be in for a kit. Would be great to see more kits like this- I'd love to be able to buy a "weekend project in a box" kind of thing... paint, hardware, etc.- everything you need to knock something out without having to make multiple runs to the local Ace Hardware...!

I would really appreciate being able to easily buy new adjuster screws (the long ones) and other mounting hardware. My adjuster screws are almost shot - lots of stripping inside the phillips head.

Looking at options to omprove the longevity on these. Seems like the metal factory used was pretty soft.
