I recently replaced my steering column blinker/headlight switch selector as the blinker portion was bad. I purchased a used one and the blinkers now work fine but it appears I have an issue with the low beam and high beam part of the switch. On my old switch, I just pulled the lever back to alternate between low beams and high beams. No issues there. Now, with the replacement switch, when I try to selected the high beam, the lights come on but once I release the lever, the go off. I can pull the lever again and the low beams come on. Pulling the lever again makes the high beams come on but once I release it, the high beams go out. Appears to be a faulty switch right?

Just want to confirm with others.
