So, i'm at this shop today. Buying some odds and ends. And get to talking with the owner who tells me about a pristine original 914-6 sitting in his friends garage. Prettiest one he's ever seen, and said it makes mine look rough. Of course its all original and has almost never been on the road since he's known the guy. Yadda Yadda.

Has hot rods???

Anyone know who this is?????????

The number $40,000 was mentioned to convince him to think about parting with it.

Not that i have that cash, but i would like to take a peak at the car. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

A) Which shop?

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) "Make yours look rough". That's a tall order.

Autobahn Dismantlers in El Cajon.

He wouldn't say who it was that had it.
I asked if the guy was serious about selling it, but he made it clear that the guy would want lots of money to consider it.

They did give me some nearly new 911 Sport mounts for cheap.... well 50% off the price of new ones. They will do.
