I have had a day to ponder what happened to the 914 Turbo Carrera and for some odd reason I am not that bummed over it. I had the chance to drive the car with the new and improved installation in place, and everything was wonderful, the muffler was a bit louder than I would prefer but sounded great.

If the oil pump had not of seized I may of never gotten around to the body work and paint. As it is now I have the time and not the distraction of a super fast great handling extremely fun car to drive.

The mechanical end of the turbo fabrication had come to a close, so when the engine is rebuilt or replaced it will all come together with the new paint. I may even restore it to the original signal orange instead of black, and I can finally restore the interior bling as it should be restored.

I look at Qarls car sitting bare for so long I must learn patience and in the end I will have a very nice car inside and out.
