I'm cleaning out my rear compartment and noticed I have a light installed...I've never noticed until now?

Of course my camera is on the fritz so I can't show ya?

Was this a common feature????

Pull out the headlight switch...it should be on the same circuit...

Yup, my car has one. It seems kinda silly that you have to have the headlights on for it to work though. I didn't even know that mine worked till I read about that. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

It's actually on the "parking lights" circuit, not the headlight-on circuit. Note that the same circuit runs your license plate lights, so if you re-wire the light make sure you run a separate power circuit to it. Or the "boys in blue" may have a small chat with you some night about your license plate lights...
