I have many rolls of exposed undeveloped 35mm film, Kodak and Fuji, from the pre-digital days. Most of this film was shot at auto races so there is definitely some Porsche content. Anyway, the time has come to clear this out.

So, the question is: Does anyone have a recommendation for a dependable film processor to develop the film and transfer to digital format (disc or file), with reasonable quality and price? I've done some internet searching, but there is such a wide range of services available it is hard to make a selection. Thank you for any suggestions.

Dwayne's Photo in Kansas.

http://www.dwaynesphoto.com/

I send all my 35mm film to Dwayne's Photo for developing and digital scans to CD, most recently 8 rolls of Kodak Ektar 100 shot during our Alaska vacation this past May.

I used to use Costco, until they scratched one of my negatives.

Here are a couple of links to photos I shot on Kodak film and had developed/scanned by Dwayne's Photo ( I hope the links work )

Not sure about getting the film developed, but once you have that done, I highly recommend Scan Café for digital conversion. They have excellent prices, do great work and are very reliable. I have had them digitize hundreds of old slides from years ago and all came out excellent. I have also had them put 8mm film on disc and quality from them is better than any other firm I have worked with. I use them exclusively now and have not been disappointed.

www.scancafe.com

once you register on their site, they will regularly send promotion codes where you save anywhere from 15 to 30% on an order. I just save my material as I go through it and send an order in when promotion comes through.

Depends on how long it's been sitting around for but once you expose film your supposed to develop it asap as it just keeps on exposing in the cannister untill there's nothing left to develop. Good luck getting any usable images.
