I was thinking of starting a thread where we could post the sounds of our cars. Thinking that there should be three videos. One from the inside accelerating from a stop to 45. One from 10 feet behind the car and finely one showing the car driving by maybe at 40. Adding information about the dB level would be a plus.

Video is a nice bonus. All that's missing is you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Post your links here. Mo re sharing, less talking! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Ok, all kidding aside, just post on one of the usual places and share here. |

Stop to 45 would not even get into my power band. Maybe stop to 60 or 65!
A lot of us don't use first gear and have a great sounding exhaust. |

Anyone seen any HP/TQ numbers when using the Scart Sport or Super sound mufflers on a stock engine? I want to get one but not if it would lower my HP on a stock motor. I have a 1.8 but I also have a low mile 2.0 911t motor that I could end up using too. Sorry to hijack thread.

Cool idea! I've wanted to do this myself with my handheld digital recorder, better resolution than a cell phone. Also because I have PMO ITBs on a 3.2 six and a Dansk muffler. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) Don't think I'll be able to get video and if I did, I probably won't be able to synch it... No good with video technology. But I'll get some audio soon and soundcloud it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)

I bought an audiometer for my iPhone. All of 99 cents. Was thinking I'd show the phone meter in the screen shots. Just need to find the daylight time to do it.

Beautiful. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) The Porsche 6 is just audio art and Michael's is sweet.
Side note: Even though I lust for the big displacement 3.2 or 3.6, there has always been a special place in my heart for the old 2.0 6. It has that sweet 6 sound plus a very enamouring whine. Art for the ears. Somebody please share a classic 2.0 6. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

Like it, in conjunction, how about doing a sound test with the different size engines with the different exhaust set up's.
