I think I found my charging problem. Here's a picture of the bottom of my relay board. I'm told that the big hole and melting on the edges is not normal, and the VR contact spades don't stay up. (What in the world might cause that?) Does anyone have another relay board on the shelf they aren't using?
Thanks

Try removing the voltage regulator off the board and plugging it directly into the rear engine harness. That should let you know if it is the board. The pins for the VR really just allow the regulator to mount on the board.

Thanks George, but I'm not sure I'd plug it in the right spot and another member is sending me an almost new board with all the components on it including another VR. I'll try that and see what happens next. Appreciate your advice though.
