Is the handbrake clevis pin the same as the clevis that's used on the pedal-side of the clutch cable? Mine is toast, and took a bit of grinding, a vise and a punch to remove it. Needless to say, I'm in need of a new one.

Thanks,

I made one for one car I'm working on. Bought a long clevis pin of a larger diameter than stock (hole was ovaled). Cut to length, put the new clevis in a drill and use a hacksaw blade to cut a new groove in it and then put a new circlip on it. Sounds backwoods, but it's almost indistinguishable from the stock one. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

It's a bit smaller, IRRC. The pin is the same size, but the clevis clip is smaller. The Cap'n
