interesting

- my GT (0919) from Germany has steel flared rockers - no seams - no welds

clearly they were stamped that way, oem 916 prototype, best i can discern
(as are a few other pieces on my car)

as i posted elsewhere recently - there is virtually no 914/6-GT part (including VINs) that cannot be reproduced and purchased now-a-days

this is gonna further confuse the marketplace, but maybe make conversion and tribute cars more valuable ??

I want a local (to me) college that offers welding classes with an instructor like yourself. I've never lived close to any institution that offers these classes, my Dad was white collar my personality keeps most peeps at arms length so I've had to teach myself welding and it shows. So my rockers were done in class as a graded fab project for a student. That student has graduated and is working at a local fab shop.. I told him I would buy sets from him if he wants to start a small business and I will resell them.. He is working on them I just talked to him last week about it.. I am trying to foster the start up small business ideas with students after graduating. I will start making them myself if he opts to not make them after a few month pass by if he can't or won't do them anymore but again my hope is he will do them.. He could be very talented.

Ok so I still have people interested in these and was thinking I could have laser cuts made and start this project in a month or so.. Who would really be in if I were to do this? I would still estimate 250 sell price. You can 1pm or email me if you would be in and I will start a group buy . email is mbconsulting21@gmail.com

So it looks like 4 sets spoken for?? Would it make more sense to start a group buy thread?
