I like it, I think it would be way cool. A pickup for parts hauling, and a crew cab to haul your friends. Classic status with an attitude.

Sweet. I hate the wheels too; it needs some fuchs. That reminds me of the notchback with a 2.4L/6 is it (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v42/Jurgipoo/Crewcab001.jpg)

It must get horrible gas mileage. Webbers on a CIS engine equals about 12-13mpg when installed in a 914. Mileage got to be even worse in a bus.
Put the CIS back on it and it'd be a sweet street ride. |

I don't know a damn thing about buses, but I think that thing kills. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif)
I'd dump the current parts hauler in a minute for that thing, but for the fact that my F150 is only worth about 1/2 of the current bid, and the reserve still isn't met. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) |

um and don't forget the engine cheet metal, man. 2.7s have enough stud pulling problemos without MORE heat.
My doublecab doesn't have seet metal shrouding, but it's a 5.7 chebby water cooled (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Little too "Big Daddy Roth" for me. All you need is a big shift knob sticking out of the roof. |

i bet the wheelwells have been hacked to put on the rear wheel/tire combo. hard to undo. too bad. the crew cab 6 with a conestoga top on the bed, that shows up at the vintage races, pulling an emory outlaw 356 is much nicer. i posted pictures long ago, maybe a search will find them. i'll check.
