Are you sure it's not Granbury instead of Grandbury? Mapquest can't find Grandbury.

Ok.. I fixed it...

I can't type. Too late at night and I have dyslexic fingers.

Are you coming to Granbury? It's a really cool town. My sister-in-law lives there and she works for the Chamber of Commerce. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

While visiting the site, this caught my eye.(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

"Speaking of Autocross, we situated the event near Mineral Wells because we have access to a H U G E (35 acre) autocross site there, the MineralRing. We’ll include an "AX 101" Seminar on Saturday and on Sunday morning, we will have an AX School at the MineralRing. Then Sunday afternoon, we will have an Autocross. You’ll love the MineralRing…"

Anne and I are in with two V8 cars. I would love to get her in the autoX school as she has never tried it. There would be a lot less pressure for her than with the local SCCA or PCA. Let me see if I can get a few more of the Houston bunch to blow the dust off their 914s and caravan up for the event. David Lee

Sean, Richard, Pat, Johan, Bill, Bob, Bob2, Paul, Marty, Chad, James and more.....you are officially on notice. Button up those projects and make it roadworthy. You will be getting a call!!!

We could have a sizable group.

Now this sounds good. We want to get some of you from the Houston - Austin - San Antonio area to come up and play.

Come meet all the MUSR Regulars and see their cars in person.

David, I am glad you are coming. Richard Fisher needs some competetion in the V8 arena.

Don't know if anyone else saw it, but there was a write up about the Brazos Drive-In in the Mar/Apr 05 issue of Texas Driver Magazine. Looks really cool (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I'm not going to any of the big events this year. If I don't have a job, I won't have the money to go. If I do have a job, I won't have the time... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

And the attorney? The only way you'll get her to the MUSR is if you hold it in Palo Alto CA, or Hawaii.

I think my wife an I and possibly even my parents will be there. My dad wants the 72 that I bought for parts to fix up for himself, so hopefully we will have both cars up and running by then. Clay, do you know if the drive-in will have the double feature that they normally do?

Checks in the mail to Charlie for registration and I have made my room reservations. The early bird gets the worm. I chose a top floor room with balcony overlooking the lake. (Three flights of stairs, but my knees are OK. )

My wife has taken quite an interest in this event due to the location and activities. She even accused me of setting her up as I showed her a flyer on the wildlife park six weeks ago as I have a client that works there. Honest, I didn't know anything about the events at that time. It is rare to have her participate in any type of car event. Now she has her own 914, she is ready to go. Great location and a great mix of activites for everyone. Good planning guys..... OK David.

We just called and made reservations. We got the room right below you on the second floor. If you are too loud, the lady that took the reservations said something about "beating on the ceiling with a broom" or "beating on your neighbor with a broom handle" or something to that effect!!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/spank.gif)

And Betty is filling out the forms right now, commiting me to show up with MY 914. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rocking nana.gif)

I knew there was a reason I (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) her.... now I have MOTIVATION!!!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif)

We also need to thank Charlie Davis for getting this setup. He is the moving force behind it,a nd we need to do something special for him this year.
